The UNI-T UT681C cable tester is a handy and reliable tool for checking the condition of Ethernet, telephone and BNC cables. Essential for installers, technicians and service technicians, it allows you to instantly detect breaks, shorts, bad connections or cable crossings. Thanks to its compact design, clear LED indicators and 9V battery power, the UT681C is suitable for both quick field tests and thorough network inspections in the office or server room.

Time-saving multi-functionality

The UT681C supports cables terminated with RJ45, RJ11 and BNC connectors (via the RJ45-BNC adapter included in the kit). It allows for quick signal continuity checks and diagnosis of shorts, opens and incorrect connections - including crossed pairs. The built-in LED array (LED1~LED8 and LED_G) allows you to easily assess the condition of individual conductors in the cable, in both fast and slow test modes.

Simple operation, maximum mobility

The device is operated with a single button, eliminating the need for complicated settings. An automatic power-off function after 10 minutes of inactivity conserves battery life, while a low-battery indicator warns when the power supply needs to be replaced. The controller is lightweight, easy to use and ready to use as soon as the battery is installed.
