Compact PoE injector, to be plugged in into a 230V AC socket.
Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology allows electrical power to be transmitted over Ethernet network cables along with the data. This technology is used primarily to power network devices such as PoE Zigbee gateways, IP cameras, IP intercoms, VoIP phones, wireless access points and other network-connected devices without a separate power source. PoE simplifies the installation and maintenance of these devices, making it a popular choice for a variety of applications, including networking, telecommunications and security monitoring.
Easy connection. Just plug the injector into a power socket and connect the Ethernet wires to the 2 sockets:
- "LAN" - to the router or access point;
- "PoE" - to PoE devices.
Output power: 24W, voltage: 48V.
Ideal for powering SLZB-06 Zigbee adapters.
Please note: for PoE to work, an 8-core Ethernet cable must be used, a 4-core cable is not suitable.
