Lithium batteries are charged differently than other standard batteries and devices. A charger for lithium batteries, like this one, is required for charging these batteries. Integrated with CC/CV charging technology, it is the simplest method for charging lithium batteries. This charger also provides protection against overcharging, undercharging, and short circuits, which offers common and sufficient protection for the majority of batteries.

The board features a USB Type-C port for power supply, a JST connector for batteries, the charging circuit, protection, and two status LEDs.
