The Zigbee smart connector can switch a total of up to 16A of current, so you can control higher-power loads (up to 3680W).
A Nous or other brand of Tuya Zigbee gateway, coordinator, or hub is required to connect the smart plug to the Zigbee network. Once paired with the Zigbee hub, the outlet can be automated and controlled remotely.
